AN epilepsy conference is being organised by the Epilepsy Action charity.
Registration for Epilepsy and You will take place at 9.30am on Saturday, March 17, at The Thistle Hotel, Fry Street, Middlesbrough. The conference will run from 10.15am to 4pm.
Experts will include Dr Simon Taggert, a consultant neurophysiologist at The James Cook University Hospital, in Middlesbrough; Dr Akporhwe Nosa, a consultant in neuro rehabilitation at the hospital and Sue Blake, Epilepsy Action's national manager for regional servi-ces.
Mandy Wood will also tell of living with the neurological condition.
Conference tickets are £12, £6.50 for concessions, and £10 for members, to include a light lunch and refreshments.
