MIDDLESBROUGH Youth Theatres will present Titanic: A New Musical at Middlesbrough Theatre, Linthorpe, from Friday, March 9, to Saturday, March 17.

Performances will start at 7.15pm, and 6pm on the Saturdays. There will be no performances on Wednesdays or Sundays. Tickets are £9 and £8 for concessions, available on 01642-815181.

CHURCH REUNION: Anyone connected with Newcomen Methodist Church, in Redcar, over the past 40 years is being invited to a reunion from 10am to 2pm on Saturday, March 10. People will meet for a chat over tea, coffee and a bacon sandwich. At 7pm, the White Rose Singers will perform. The next day, there will be a service at 10.45am, conducted by Deacon Judith Wray.

HISTORY WALK: On Sunday, countryside rangers will lead a History of the Tees walk to look at some features that were pivotal to the area's development from the 1600s to the present day. Meet at the Victoria Bridge, in Stockton, near Burger King, at 10am. The walk will finish at about 12.30pm.

DIABETES MEETING: There will be a meeting for people living with diabetes or people caring for a sufferer on Wednesday. The Stockton Voluntary Support Group will meet at St John's Church Centre, Durham Road, from 6.30pm to 8pm. The meetings are free to attend.

LOCAL CONCERT: Stan Webb's Chicken Shack band will perform at Guisborough Rhythm and Blues Club, at Guisborough Town Football Club, Howlbeck Road, Guisborough, from 8pm on Saturday, March 3. Tickets are £12, available on 01287-634365.

TAX PLANS: Saltburn, Marske and New Marske Parish Council has agreed its precept for 2007-8. At £122,000, it is an increase of 3.9 per cent.

MONTHLY MEET: The Guisborough and District Branch of the Embroiderers' Guild will meet in Sunnyfield House, Westgate, Guisborough, at 2pm on Saturday, March 3. Yvonne Brown will give a talk on the story of a textile artist.
