Redcar Town

The Ladies finished their season in style when they made it three wins on the bounce with a 2-1 win at Lowick United.

In the first half Redcar created the better chances but were thwarted by either some good goalkeeping or hurried finishing.

They took the lead 13 minutes into the second half, however, when Jess dribbled into the box and flashed a pass across the six yard box which Ellie C gleefully stabbed home for her first of the season.

We added a second in the 74th minute when a superb corner was met by Ellie T to head home from four yards out. Lowick pulled one back when Hollywood miss judged a shot and it sneaked in at the near post to make it a nervy last seven minutes.

Overall everyone played well in the hot conditions with special mentions to Andrea, Ellie T and Georgia E who were outstanding at the back and Gemma, who put in numerous bone crunching challenges in the middle of the pitch and for the third week in a row Ellie Turner was player of the match.
