TEENAGERS in their final year of secondary school with a 100 per cent attendance record are being tracked down by Durham County Council.
Youngsters who have never missed even a half day in class throughout their whole secondary or primary education will be invited to a special celebration event.
The evening will be held at Durham County Cricket club where the dedicated pupils will be given a tour of the club and have photographs taken as well as taking part in an awards presentation.
To be eligible for an award, attendance must continue to be 100 per cent until the pupil’s official leaving date in the summer.
More information is available from schools in the county, and the council is also contacting schools directly in order to identify eligible pupils.
