The forecaster has predicted it to remain largely dry with sunny spells today (January 15), with a few "isolated snow showers" possible in coastal areas.
It said : "Clear spells overnight leading to another very cold night with widespread sharp frosts. Dry across the region, winds easing away from coasts."
There will be a maximum temperature of 1 °C today, with the region expecting a minimum temperature of -3 °C tonight.
