Darlington town centre came alive with a flurry of colour and energy last weekend for an annual dance event - take a look at our pictures.
Morris Dancing teams from across the country gathered in the town last week (April 8) for the annual Black Diamond Mixed Cotswold Morris dancers Day of Dance, which began in 2018.
Dancers aged as young as ten were part of the event, as teams from Scotland, local teams from around Darlington as well as Teesside and North and West Yorkshire gathered to take part.
Pictures of the day showed large crowds made up of residents and visitors who came out to cheer on the dancers who wore eclectic and colourful costumes.
This year’s Day of Dance was chosen to take place in the early Spring, a specific homage to the lamented Spring Thing Festival and their former showcase of Morris dancers.
The House of Hop pub and the Three Brother Brewing this year sponsored the Day of Dance and held a continuation of dancing festivities after the event ended.
Here are some pictures of the event - can you spot yourself?
