Police have released an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with an alleged assault that left a person with broken teeth on Christmas Day.
The incident was said to have taken place at the Denton Hotel, on West Road in Newcastle last year just after 11:30pm.
It was reported that following a dispute involving a number of people inside the venue, a man punched another man outside in the street.
The victim, a 27-year-old, suffered broken teeth and an injury to his windpipe.
Police have now released an image of a man they would like to speak to regarding the incident, as he was in the area at the time.
They believe he could assist their enquiries.
The man, or anyone who knows who he is, should use the ‘Report’ page of the Northumbria Police website or call 101, quoting crime reference number 158794W/23.
