Tools taken in Darlington shed raid

DARLINGTON police are appealing for information after tools and bikes worth more than £1,300 were stolen from a shed.

The tools, including a green Makita power drill and angle grinder, a yellow and black petrol strimmer, a green Makita cordless screwdriver, a Dremmel kit saw in a grey case and a grey Halfords socket set were taken from a shed in the Skene Park area of Darlington late in the evening on Monday, October 1.

A white Boardman mountain bike worth £650 was also taken.

Anyone with any information, or anyone who has been offered any of the items to buy, is asked to contact PC John Forster on 101, quoting incident number DHM-01102012-0541.
