Darlington Brownies gear up for reunion

A BROWNIES Pack is encouraging former members to go along and enjoy a 60th anniversary celebration.
The 3rd Darlington St Mary’s Brownies are holding a cupcakes and cocktails night on Thursday evening to mark the occasion.
The event will be held in St Mary’s Church Hall, in Stooperdale Avenue, Darlington, from 6.30pm, and Guider and former Brownie Sarah-Jane Small, hopes it will be a success.
She said: “The girls came up with the idea of the night and are looking forward to trying their non-alcoholic cocktails.
“It would be nice to see some old faces come along and really enjoy the night.”
