HURWORTH School celebrated its pupils' academic achievements with a presentation night attended by Dave Parnaby, the head of Middlesbrough FC's youth academy.
Awards were given out for categories including subject prizes, excellent progress, pastoral and 100 per cent attendance. Mr Parnaby gave a speech on the night.
A school spokeswoman said: "The Evening to Celebrate Achievement was a great success and it was lovely for everyone to come together - parents, pupils, staff and governors - to celebrate the achievments of our pupils."
