Darlington Flower Club to hold Christmas charity event

A FLOWER club is to host a charity Christmas event in support of the British Heart Foundation.

Darlington Flower Club's annual charity Christmas Show will be held at Hummersknott School, in Edinburgh Drive,  on Wednesday, November 2.

The event will include a talk by national demonstrator Keith Smithies, from Wales, called All That Glitters, which will be held in a special tiered venue to allow a better view for guests. There will also be a number of stalls selling festive items, as well as a raffle.

Proceeds from the event will go to club’s charity of the year, the British Heart Foundation, for its appeal, Mending Broken Hearts.

Doors open at 6.30pm, with the demonstration starting at 7.30pm. Further information and tickets, available at £8 each, are available by calling 01325-374732 or on the door on the evening.
