HISTORY TALK: The Friends of the National Railway Museum (North East Branch) are to host a talk by Chris Lloyd, deputy editor of The Northern Echo, entitled Pits, Pockmarks and Haggerleases: the Story of Cockfield Fell. It is on Saturday, November 24, at 11.30am at Locomotion: The National Railway Museum at Shildon. Admission to the talk is free and for further details contact the museum on 01388-771439.
