THE organisers of this year’s Christmas Extravaganza at Sacriston say it will be a cracker.
The event will be put on by Sacriston Community and Sports Trust and Sacriston Parish Council on Monday November 26 from 3 to 8pm at The Fulforth Centre and the nearby Sacriston Working Men’s Club in Front Street.
Attractions include a funfair, a carol concert in the club at 5pm , a Christmas fair, children’s entertainment, tarot readings, a laser war obstacle course, and the chance to meet Santa Claus.
The village’s festive lights will be switched on at 6pm by Durham County Cricket Club first team player Chris Rushworth and the club’s head coach, Geoff Cook.
