DURHAM Army Cadet Force Band and Bugles is on the look-out for budding young musicians.

The band wants to recruit 12 to 18-year-olds who play an instrument or want to learn. The band can provide free tuition and instruments if required.

The group gives marching and concert performances throughout the country

Members of the band have the opportunity to attain qualifications, such as Btec Music and the Duke of Edinburgh Award.

A band spokesman said: “We want to share these experiences with as many young people as possible so if you are interested come along and get involved.
