A CHESTER-le-Street pub is celebrating after getting a five-star rating for food hygiene.
The Wicket Gate, Front Street, impressed Durham County Council inspectors who visited as part of the council’s Scores on the Doors programme.
Inspectors judge pubs, take-aways and restaurants on how hygienic and well-managed the food preparation at the premises is.
