Gift night for hospice

A MOTHER'S Day gift night, featuring various stalls and a hair demonstration, will be held in the function suite at the Red Lion pub, Front Street, Chester-le-Street, on Friday, March 1, at 7pm.
Donations on the door will go to St Cuthbert’s Hospice in Durham.
EXTENSION PLANS: Durham County Council is being asked to grant planning permission for a single storey extension at the back of a house in Victoria Terrace, High Handenhold.
ROCK NIGHT: Jonny and the Moondogs play the Barley Mow, Durham Road, Birtley, on Thursday, February 21, at 9pm. Entry is free.
