A DANCE instructor is doing a Zumbathon to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Danielle Patterson, 25, of Birtley, will be tackling a Zumbathon, organised and presented by DanceFuse., with colleagues on Saturday, April 20 at the Joseph Swan Academy, Swalwell Road, Gateshead, and are urging others to join them.
DanceFuse have organised charity events in the past but this year decided to raise money for Cancer Research UK after a customer lost a family member to cancer.
Ms Patterson said: “We are so pleased to be fundraising for such an amazing charity. We hope that, because cancer affects so many people that this will encourage people to come and participate and help us raise as much money as we can for such a fantastic cause. “
