Durham County Council has granted planning permission for a livery building accommodating six horses, with trailer storage and a tack room, on land near Twizell Lane at West Pelton.

New look: Plans to install a new shop front at 47 Front Street, Chester-le-Street, have won planning permission from Durham County Council planning officials.
Bowling club: An indoor carpet bowling session will be held at the Cnester-le-Street Community Association, Newcastle Bank, Chester-le-Street, tomorrow (Friday, December 13) from 1.30 to 4pm. It is for beginners and more experienced players.
Coffee morning: A coffee morning will be held at the Cornerstone Community Centre, nect to Chester-le-Street Methodist Church, North Burns, Chester-le-Street, between 9 and 11.30am.
