MIXED vocal choir Northern Voices will raise funds for a Darlington hospice at its next concert.
The choir will perform at the Liddiard Theatre, in Polam Hall School, on Friday, May 16, in support of the Darlington Lions Club, which is fundraising for St Teresa’s Hospice.
Northern Voices is made up of men and women from around the North East who sing vocal harmonies in a number of genres, from Gershwin and Duke Ellington to Andrew Lloyd Webber.
Musical director Gillian Sild, is well known in the region as a soprano soloist, a singing teacher and managing director of the Stockton-based Opera Nova and the Billingham Oratorio Choir. The choir will be accompanied by pianist Stephen Sild.
Tickets are £8, to include a glass of wine. The concert will begin at 7.30pm.
