A NORTH-EAST training academy has been nominated for a national award and is appealing for public votes to help it win.
Kathryn Robinson and K2U Therapies Clinic and Training Academy, in Darlington, are on the shortlist for a What’s On 4 Me award.
The awards scheme, now in its eighth year, celebrates the best activities from throughout the UK - both for children and adults - as nominated and voted for by the public.
The academy, which also has a base in Catterick Garrison, has been nominated for the best skills or academic based learning provider, while Ms Robinson has received nominations for most inspirational coach, instructor or tutor.
Ms Robinson said: "I am absolutely thrilled to have been nominated, it is confirmation that we are providing our students with a high standard of teaching combined with flexibility for learning and continual mentoring not only throughout their learning experience but after they have qualified too.”
People can vote until October 1 at whatson4me.co.uk
The winners will be announced on November 20 2014 at Earls Court, in London.
