ORGANISERS of an annual country fair are promising a spectacular day of entertainment for all the family.
The event, at Hurworth Grange, on Saturday, September 20, will feature a display by the 3Sixty trick cyclist team.
There will be a full day of entertainment for all age groups, with dog racing, ferret racing, cookery demonstrations, a children’s entertainer and lots and lots of animals.
Expert archers will be demonstrating their skill and inviting visitors to try their hand and there will be a series of medieval re-enactments.
There will be more than 50 stalls for visitors to browse, and a fairground to amuse the younger generation.
The bar and food outlets are open all day, and free parking is available for more than 700 vehicles. Entry to the event, which runs from 10.30am to 4pm, costs £3 for adults and 50p for children.
Competitions are still open for produce, crafts and photography.
