TWO large toolboxes containing power and hand-tools were stolen from the garage of a house in Whessoe Road, close to its junction with Longfield Road, in Darlington, overnight on Saturday (October 18).
Due to the weight of the tools taken, it is suspected that two people are responsible for the theft.
Among the items taken was a green Makita toolbox, containing power tools valued at about £500.
The second toolbox, a yellow Stanley brand, contained hand tools worth £100.
Anyone with information is asked to call PC Stew Walker, on 101.
