A CHARITY that helps re-build lives after brain injury is looking for volunteers.

Headway Darlington and District, which supports those living with brain injury as well as their families and carers, would like to hear from anyone interested in helping out. Volunteers must be enthusiastic, patient and organised, as well as empathetic and flexible.

Volunteers are needed for two types of role. The first role involves helping to organise and deliver leisure activities to the charity’s service-users, and volunteers would be encouraged to bring their own skills and interests to the role. The second role involves supporting service-users in the community, in order to help them to become more independent.
