DANCE: Tom Shilcock who appeared on the BBC One show So You Think You Can Dance? held a special masterclass at Macadam School of Dance in Newton Aycliffe
YOUNGSTERS at a Newton Aycliffe dance school enjoyed a special masterclass with a familiar face this month.
Tom Shilcock who appeared on the BBC One show So You Think You Can Dance? delivered a free lesson at Macadam School of Dance ahead of the Can you Dance? convention in Newcastle on Sunday, May 17.
Diane Plews, of Macadam School of Dance, said: “We feel very privileged to get such an experienced professional come to our school and share their knowledge with us.
“It's not very often we get to take part in things like this in Aycliffe. The kids thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the masterclass.”
