TWO people have been taken to hospital following a collision this morning.
North Yorkshire Police were called at 9.10am this morning to a two-vehicle collision on the junction of Greystone Lane and the B6275 in Manfield, near Darlington.
Both casualties were taken to Darlington Memorial Hospital. One suffered head and facial injuries, while the other was suffering from whiplash and shock.
Fire and ambulance crews were also called to the collision, which involved a blue Audi and a black Volkswagen Golf.
The road was closed in both directions while the scene was cleared.
