A BUSY business park will benefit from a bumper bus service.
Lingfield Point's bus services are set to be doubled and new services introduced.
Additional services to and from the Darlington business park will be launched on Sunday, May 17.
A bus service was initially introduced to Lingfield Point as a trial in 2012.
Its success means it will now continue with another eight journeys added to cope with the demand.
Eddie Humphries, Estate Manager, said: “This increase in service is a real match for our sustainability ethos and represents great value for employees and businesses.
"It is wonderful to see so many of our customers buying into travelling by public transport.
"This service can help make a real difference in the pocket as well as the environment.”
From Sunday, May 17, additional services to Lingfield will be launched with Arriva’s new Service 2, which will provide cross-town links from Branksome to Red Hall via Darlington town centre, up to every 12 minutes, with peak hour journeys operating via Lingfield Point.
