Exploring the search for aliens

REVEREND Professor David Wilkinson, a renowned theologian and astrophysicist and principal of St John’s College at Durham University, will give the Annual Borderlands Lecture on the search for extraterrestrial life at the Calman Learning Centre, on Durham University’s Stockton Road science site, Durham City, on Monday, October 14, at 7.30pm. HUMANISTS MEET: Kate Davies from Crisis, the national association for single homeless people, will address a meeting of the North East Humanists’ Durham discussion group at the Lit and Phil building, Westgate Road, Newcastle, on Thursday, October 17, at 7.15pm.
