A THEATRE group returns to the stage next week.
Durham Dramatic Society will stage a production of Rope at the City Theatre, Fowlers Yard, Durham City, from September 14 to 20.
Rope is a thriller in which two young men attempt to commit the perfect murder.
It was written by Patrick Hamilton, who also wrote the play Gaslight, and turned into a film by Alfred Hitchcock in 1948.
Performances start at 2.30pm on Sunday, September 14, and 7.30pm each day from September 15 to 20.
Tickets cost £6.50, with concessions priced £5.50 available for Sunday and Monday only.
