A LIMITED number of places remain on a part-time floristry course.
East Durham College will run the Introductory NCFE Level 1 floristry course at its Houghall Campus in Durham for three hours a week over 26 weeks, either at 6pm-9pm on Thursday evenings, or 9.30am-12.30pm on a Friday.
People attending the course will learn how to put together floral arrangements, gifts, hand-tied design, floral art and design, and seasonal arrangements.
Once completed they will leave the course with the level 1 qualification and will be able to progress on to the level 2 diploma in floristry.
Floristry lecturer Sue Lee said: “This is a fantastic course to join to introduce you to some easy floristry skills.
“Once completed you will come away with a host of brilliant skills that will allow you to create your own great displays to a professional standard.”
