VILLAGERS will come together in Wheatley Hill on Sunday to mark Remembrance Sunday.
A parade will leave Patton Street at 10.30am for a half-hour service taking place in All Saints Parish Church at 10.45am.
Afterwards, the parade, including Trimdon Brass Band and members of Wheatley Hill British Legion, will leave the church at approximately 11.15am for the war memorial in Wheatley Hill Cemetery.
The war memorial service will start at 11.30am and end with the sounding of The Last Post at around noon.
Afterwards the First World War exhibition in Wheatley Hill Heritage Centre will be open for visitors and refreshments will be available.
