A CATERING company is set to serve up luxury food for families in east Durham on Mother’s Day.
Oldfield Events, who run the catering and events at Seaham Town Hall, will be giving their guests the chance to treat their mums to five-star food and entertainment on Sunday, March 15.
The Mother’s Day Lunch at the Stockton Road venue, will include dishes such as chicken liver parfait and melba toast with balsamic dressing, belly pork with bubble and squeak rosti and pepper sauce and crème brulee with homemade shortbread, among others.
The day will also include live entertainment from County Durham-based singer, Joshua J The Wedding Singer, who will be performing everything from motown and rock to soul and swing.

“The venue has experienced huge success since it opened last year.
“The versatility of the facilities at Seaham Town Hall means that we can run a huge programme of events for everyone in the area along with catering for external events too.”
The three course Mother’s Day Lunch will be take place at 12.30pm and is priced at £15.95 for adults and at £9.95 for children, with mums getting their meal free.
