AN ANNUAL evening of dance, drama and music created and performed by people with learning disabilities returns next week.
Tin Arts will present Best Foot Forward! at the Gala Theatre, in Durham City, on Wednesday, March 25.
It will be the 16th year for the production.
Tin Arts artistic director Tess Chaytor said: “It’s so rewarding to see all of the hard work and preparation coming together in a wonderful, heart-warming performance.”
The show is supported by Arts Council England.
One parent, whose son dances with Tin Arts, said: “Tin Arts has really developed his confidence and outlook as to what he can achieve in the future.
“We as a family have been amazed at how much he has been able to overcome and how he has become an independent good performer.
“We cannot thank Tin Arts enough for the time and effort that they put into their performers.”
The show starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are £9 for adults, £7 for concessions. To book, visit the Gala Theatre box office, go online to galadurham.co.uk or call 03000 266600.
