DO you have an old spindle lurking around in your loft? If so, Darlington Civic Theatre would like to hear from you.
The Sleeping Beauty pantomime crew are seeking a spindle to replace the one currently being used in its promotional window display in Boyes.
The display spindle will soon be removed to be used in panto rehearsals and the show itself which runs from December 8 to January 20, so the theatre is hoping that a local resident may donate one to put in the window display during that time.
Heather Barron of Darlington Civic Theatre said: “We have tried ringing around a couple of places, but they are quite hard to get hold of!”
Anybody who has a spindle they can lend to the window display can call Mrs Barron on 01325 387763.
