PUPILS returned to Darlington at the weekend after an annual school skiing trip.
About 40 students from Hurworth School Maths and Computing College travelled by coach to the Italian ski resort of Pila, in the mountains above Aosta.
The group was accompanied by headteacher Dean Judson, and teachers Nick Gawthorpe, Michael Garmston, Nichola Peaker and Lisa Armes, who organised the trip.
A spokesman for the school said: "Everyone really enjoyed themselves on the slopes despite a few minor spills. There were also evening entertainments such as bowling and discos."
