GOLF club members have put rivalries aside to raise money for a charity support group.
Players at Mount Oswald Golf Club, in Durham City, staged a year of fundraising events for the Durham and District branch of the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society after learning club worker Karen Cant had a husband and a son with the condition.
In all, 140 members took part, raising £1,000 for the cause.
Branch chairman Alistair Crisp recently visited the clubhouse to receive a cheque from club captain Barry Hawthorne.
Mr Crisp said “This was a wonderful gift from the club.”
