TEES PIC Cannabis farm uncovered
A CANNABIS farm worth more than £17,000 has been uncovered in the region.
A police officer found the haul at a property on Everett Street in Hartlepool on Wednesday.
The officer had been in the area speaking to local residents about an unrelated issue when he became suspicious upon entering the house. He discovered 43 plants of various sizes spread across the upstairs of the property and the loft.
A 44-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of production of a Class B drug and has been bailed pending further investigation.
