A MAN was knocked off his bike and robbed by teenagers on New Year’s Day.
The 23-year-old was riding his bike along Peaton Street in North Ormesby at around 10.15pm when he was approached by two youths who threatened him before pushing him off his bike and stealing his black rucksack while he was on the ground.
The youths are described as 5ft tall, white, skinny and wearing black. They appeared to be around 15 to 16 years old.
Police are appealing for information about the incident and believe passers by or passing motorists may have witnessed it. They are particularly interested in speaking to a teenage girl who is around 5ft tall with dark hair as they believe she may have seen something as she walked towards Edward Street.
