A young visitor at the Festival of Angels
THE Festival of Angels, in York, this year attracted record visitor numbers to the city.
On Saturday, December 14 and Sunday, December 15, figures were up 38 per cent on the equivalent weekend last year.
Thousands flocked to the event to view the ice sculptures. This follows on record numbers on the weekend of St Nicholas Fayre.
