VOLUNTEERS are being sought to join the organisation which works to promote recycling and composting across the county.
The North Yorkshire Rotters attend events and talks to offer advice to people in their local communities who would like to reduce waste and save money.
The volunteers receive role-specific training so that they have the knowledge to help raise awareness of the importance of home composting, and of the Love Food Hate Waste campaign.
People interested in volunteering or finding out more are invited to two drop-in sessions, to be held in the Forum on Bullamoor Road, Northallerton, on February 17 from 10am to noon and February 22 between 10am and noon.
