An afternoon tea dance will take place at the Golden Lion Hotel in Northallerton on Sunday, February 23, between 2pm and 4.45pm to raise money for the Stroke Association. Entry is £4, including tea and coffee. There will be a mixed programme of ballroom, sequence, line and folk dancing.
WINDMILL HISTORY TALK: Stokesley Society will be hosting a talk tomorrow evening (Monday, January 27) on windmills. The illustrated talk, by Peter Morgan, will show the development of windmills and their importance in North Yorkshire. The talk will take place in Stokesley Town Hall at 7.30pm. All are welcome and admission is £1.
RICHMOND WALK: Northallerton Ramblers will be walking in the Richmond area on Thursday, January 30. They will meet at Reeth Road car park at 10.30am for a five-mile walk to Willances Leap and return along field and wood paths. For more details call 01609-771169.
