A RENOWNED jazz a cappella group will perform in Richmond next month ahead of a performance at

the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

The Oxford Gargoyles, an ensemble made up of Oxford University students who have had to pass an audition to join, will appear at St Mary’s Parish Church on Friday, August 8 at 7pm.

The group includes former Richmond School student Daniel Overin, who is studying medicine at Oxford.

The ensemble is donating all proceeds from the concert towards the church’s plans to make its facilities more accessible for wheelchair bound users.

Tickets cost £10 for adults and £5 for concessions. They are available from Castle Hill Books, in Richmond, Richmond tourist information centre, JG Windows in Darlington or by calling 01748-821732.
