A DETACHMENT of soldiers have marked the first time they have been together for a decade, following operational commitments in Iraq and Afghanistan, by posing for an official photograph in the River Swale, in Richmond.
Richmond-based photographer Paul Booth said The Royal Electrical and Mechanical Regiment detachment from 5th Regiment Royal Artillery, based at Marne Barracks, Catterick, commanded by Major Grant Innes, had wanted the shot taken at a fun and unusual site.
