POLICE are appealing for the rightful owners of a large amount of farming equipment that has been found stashed near Helmsley.
Officers believe the equipment has been stolen from farms and stashed to be picked up later.
They are appealing for farmers and rural businesses to contact them if they recognise any of the property as their own.
Call North Yorkshire Police on 101 and pass information to the force control room.
