A SUPPORT group for people with lung problems and their carers will host a series of events, the next being a charity concert.
Breathe Easy Durham Dales will host an evening of song and brass at Bishop Auckland Methodist Church, on Cockton Hill Road, on Wednesday, April 22, at 7.30pm.
It will feature ViVo Village Voices choir, with Megann and John Childs, and Fishburn Academy Band, led by bandmaster George Nicklin.
Tickets are £5 for adults, £4 concessions and free for under 16s from Breathe Easy, Vivo, band members, Harry Brown on 01388 773652 or on the door. Proceeds in aid of the British Lung Foundation.
The group offers support, friendship and information and hosts a series of events from specialist speakers to social events.
Meetings take place at Bishop Auckland Methodist Church Hall on the first Thursday of each month, 2pm to 3.30pm, and it is free to join. Call Mr Brown or Marie Anderson on 0300 3030253 for details.
Specialist nurse Barbara Dent runs exercise classes at Woodhouse Close Church Hall, on Proudfoot Drive, Bishop Auckland, on Tuesdays, 2pm to 3pm, cost £3, call 07758 646009 for details.
