A COURSE to help parents, grandparents and carers get children off to a flying start before school will start in Bishop Auckland next week.
Early Start at Woodhouse Close Church Community Centre, on Proudfoot Drive, is a free ten week course for adults to find out how to help children up to five-years-old develop their reading, writing and maths skills.
It will be held on Fridays, from May 15, from 9.15am to 11.15am.
The course is for adults but creche facilities will be available.
