YOUNGSTERS in Crook donned fiendish fancy dress for a spooky celebration to mark Halloween.

Sunnybrow Residents’ Association hosted a children’s disco on Saturday, sponsored by housing management company Dale and Valley Homes, maintenance firm Dunelm Property Services, and Yorkshire Windows.

The firms have installed new windows and doors to 200 houses in the area, and helped with the event to thank residents for their patience during the maintenance work.

Donations included food, prizes for the best costumes, and Halloween themed decorations.

The next phase of work to bring the houses up to Decent Homes standard includes improvements to kitchens, bathrooms, and heating systems.
