PLANS for a private gypsy site on farmland near Stokesley have been refused over concerns about traffic access.
Hambleton District Council has rejected the scheme by John Bushby for the field on Easby Road which sort to get retrospective approval.
Mr Bushby has a static caravan on the land which is accessed on a road which concerns have been raised over before.
North Yorkshire County Council’s highways team feel there was not enough visibility along the road at the access point.
Easby Parish Council along with Great and Little Broughton Parish Council both wanted the plan to be refused.
The district council’s development management committee voted seven to one in favour of refusal.
