IMAGINE having Christmas with the Great British Bake Off judges. Mary Berry would be there being sweet and friendly in a colourful jacket, Paul Hollywood would be looking slightly less intimidating in a cosy, festive jumper, and they’d both be dishing up an array of wonderful baked goods.
If you were really lucky, Mel and Sue might pop round for some mulled wine and a bit of impromptu carolling. The only potentially awkward moment would be if you took along some home-made mince pies and they deemed your pastry to be disappointing.
Well, BBC2 is offering us the next best thing, The Great British Bake-Off Masterclass in which Berry and Hollywood show how to bake up a storm this Christmas.
