I WOULD like to comment on the eating out feature regarding the service writer Scott Wilson received at the Three Tuns, in Eggleston (Echo, Dec 13).
Mr Wilson complained about the service but we visited the establishment the same day as the article appeared in the paper and had no complaints whatsoever. In fact, they could not have looked after us any better.
However, would one sit as long as Mr Wilson did without commenting to the waitress – surely not?
We found the food to be excellent, plenty of it and great value for money with attentive waitresses.
