LIKE Sylvia Smith (HAS, Dec 27) I think something should done to prevent more flooding.
Since I retired I tend to use motorways less and back roads more and more, travelling between Richmond and hospital in Teesside.
When I look at the road sides I wonder where have all the ditches gone? The ones I have noticed are overgrown and blocked with rubbish. Surely, if these were cleared there would less flooding on the roads?
